According to the Teachings of Union, respecting one’s choices and respecting God’s choices are paramount. God’s choices, however, are oftentimes disregarded or not listened to because we can’t physically see Him or talk to Him. Therefore, respect is about the relationship and the connection we build with God. It is about the appreciation of His will and choices for us through our life circumstances. Respect and humility are essential for our healing and Ascension towards our Perfect life in Union with God.
