We have been taught that failure means we have done something wrong or misunderstood something. The Teachings of Union, however, show us to consider the true spiritual meaning of a mistake as an opportunity to learn, grow, and come closer to God. Failures are nothing more than situations where we are not aligned with our greatest good, with God, and with Love. Therefore, surrendering to these experiences, learning from them, and taking these opportunities to make new choices is key in our ascension journey. On our spiritual journey, failures are the milestones towards our Perfect Union.
